What is IdeaReminder?

IdeaReminder helps you remember what you read. Paste a quote or idea, choose how often you want to revisit it, and it will resurface in your inbox on a schedule.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can use IdeaReminder without registering. Registration is optional and lets you edit and remove your saved ideas.

Is it free?

Yes. IdeaReminder is free.

How do reminders work?

You pick a cadence (weekly, biweekly, monthly, or yearly). IdeaReminder sends you one email per day that includes all ideas that are due that day.

Will I get spammed with emails?

No. IdeaReminder sends at most one email per day.

What cadences are supported?

What if I add a lot of ideas at once?

That’s fine. If many ideas become due on the same day, they’ll be included together in that day’s single email.

Can I edit or delete ideas?

Yes—if you create an account. Registration is optional, but it unlocks editing and removal.

Is there a pause feature?

Not yet. Pausing reminders is planned for a future update.

Can I export my ideas?

Not yet. Export is planned for a future update.

Is my content public?

No. Your ideas are private—there’s no public collections feature.

How is my email used?

Only to send you your reminders (and essential service emails). No newsletters and no selling your address.

I’m not receiving emails—what should I check?

  • Check Spam/Promotions tabs
  • Search your inbox for "IdeaReminder"
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address

Can I unsubscribe?

Yes—every reminder email includes an unsubscribe link.
